Christian Lauer Lower was born in Berks Co., PA. He married Elizabeth Ludwig of Amity, Berks Co. August 1780. They were the parents of Daniel, David, John, Benjamin, Samuel, William, Sarah, and George. They would settle in Coshocton Co.,OH in the early 1800's. He was a Blacksmith by trade. He served in the Revolutionary War at the age of fifteen- Was a Drummer Boy. A Commemorative marker has been placed at his grave. |
